Jimi Hendrix The L.A. Forum Concert

Far and away, the best Live Jimi Hendrix album ever ! It was never released because of a couple of warts. Some of the security people there had a microphone plugged into the PA system. So a couple of times (between songs) you'll hear them say things like Stay Away From The Stage. In the last song Voodoo Chile, towards the end, Jimi's microphone quit working and you can barely hear him singing. So there's nothing wrong with your equipment. Besides those 2 very minor complaints, this Live album rocks ! Most of Jimi's live recordings are kind of raw and crazy (like Led Zeppelin & The White Stripes Live albums). This one is very well played and executed. It's his only Live album that I enjoy. Very Highly Recommended.
