this is the REAL UB40. Music made by inspired people in a studio instead of karaoke to a computer. Ali's not entitled to use the UB40-name and his former 'brothers' have been out there touring and recording as UB40 since 1979. It was always an outfit without a specific leader or singer and this has shown on the last couple of albums. And, no, it doesn't sound like their 'Labour Of Love'-albums from the 1980s. So what? We're some thirty years later and UB40 delivered one of the finest latter day albums of their career. It's a shame Ali Campbell 'needs' the name UB40, he would sell out gigs under his own name. Leave the creativity and the future to Robin and his mates!
UB40 is unfortunately not UB40 without Ali Campbell, its like Journey without Steve Perry.
