Great album by one of my favorite modern bands. I have been looking forward to this album since they announced its release a few months ago, and it exceeded my expectations. I watched an interview with the band, the singer, Aimee, said the lyrics are basically an autobiography of her life. After listening to it, I just wanted to give her a hug. A great mix of punk, ska and reggae, and a couple of the later tracks really remind me of 50's music. My young kids enjoyed it, too. Great teaching points about not knowing how other people's lives are behind closed doors, and how a person's will and strength and courage can bring them from a bad place to a successful place.
