The Damned Machine Gun Etiquette

Probably the best of the Damned LPs, this has a clutch of great melodies, slashing guitar and solid production. Songs like "Love Song" and a cover of "Ballroom Blitz" make for their most consistent effort - a credible example of pop-punk. But for well over half of the time, the songs are distinctly underwhelming - a big problem with this band.

Lead vocalist Dave Vanian isn't a very memorable vocalist or front-man, but this album is solid
