The Clash Combat Rock (Reissued 1992)

"Should I Say or Should I Go?" and "Rock The Casbah" are the two standout tracks on a decidedly disappointing LP. After their mammoth album Sandanista!, it's almost as if there's a drop-off in power or interest - which is sad.

The Clash wasn't ever particularly articulate, but they had a good feel for punk- and pop-infused tracks. On that level, Combat Rock is inconsistent - and it wouldn't take too long before the band itself would break up.
