There are many Beatles Fans who will recommend SGT PEPPER as the finest Beatles album, In reality Revolver is the greatest Beatles Album. It precedes SGT PEPPER - Revolver was released in 1966 - SGT PEPPER in 1967. The Beatles had ceased touring - they couldn't hear themselves on stage and their genius and innovative talents were being strangled and prohibited. They knew - ALL FOUR OF THEM, that touring was monotonous and repetitive and wasn't showing them at their best.
