Tamikrest Chatma

It is as though all the forces of musical oddities came together and created Tamikrest. Only Touareg musicians could assemble such brilliance; songs spot-welded with brief, yet angry sparks of guitar riffs, reminiscent of Dire Straits, while a three-cord rhythm section skips back & forth before a harmonious vocal overlay, as intricate as the weave on an Oriental carpet. If only more Western bands could hear them, and realize how insignificant their music is, compared with these gods of harmony. Absolutely wondrous.
