I came to know the band through this album. It has a "British" approach to doom, very heavy but the guitars are not distorted beyond recognition as can be found in bands like Conan. The sound has a certain warmth to it, and the entire mixed is well balanced. All in all we are dealing with a very strong release that is easily one of the best metal albums in 2014.
