Rush Clockwork Angels

While I too have been listening to Rush since the early '70's the band has wandered into some strange territory at times, this is not one of those times. Of course as always the musicianship is impeccable but, they've really stepped up there writing chops on this offering. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece but, the core of the songs are rock solid. They're not just flailing away in order to create a wall of sound. It feels as though there is some air in the tunes as well as interesting lyrics. A real treat of an album. Well worth multiple listens.

This is their best album since Moving Pictures. Great writing, playing and an interesting story. Recommended!

This is a masterclass in rock music and should be on everyone's iPd (etc). Musically sublime and extremely powerful lyrically and rhythmically. Utterly superb.

Respectful of the everyone...I started listentening to Rush back in the day...along time ago in the 1970's. Seems like the same thing over and over...yawn! Try the new "Casablanca" album on this site! Amazing!

Outstanding album. Have heard it three times already and like it more every time.
