If you buy only one jazz album in your life, it should be this one.Walking In Space won a Grammy Award for Quincy Jones and it was well deserved. The album included a veritable Who's Who of jazz legends and with Quincy in charge, it couldn't help but be successful. Quincy also won a grammy for "The Dude" and the very next year for Michael Jackson's "Thriller" album which he produced. He also produced "Off The Wall" and "Bad" for M.J. Quincy Jones has had 80 Grammy nominations and won 28 Grammies, the most of anybody in history with the exception of British orchestra and opera conductor, Sir Georg Solti.
