This is a 1980 post-punk album by Pylon, another great band from Athens, Georgia, USA. The songs are simplistic, with emphasis on the bass and drums, and a twangy Low-Fidelity echo-drone quality, while the vocals by Vanessa are often screechy and sometimes barked. The lyrics are often indecipherable. The singles were "Cool" and "Danger." There really isn't a bad song on the album. Pylon had a cult following but gained national attention due to their association with Athens, GA and their comrades in the B-52's and R.E.M. Highly recommended especially if you enjoy early B-52's, Gang of Four, or Devo. Be sure to check out the songs "Volume," "Feast on My Heart," "Read A Book," "Driving School," "Gravity," "Danger," and "Working Is No Problem."
