I have seen this woman perform live so many times now and, each time, I am completely blown away. It's hard to believe that she has just turned 56 by the way she rocks the stage, her unwavering energy and the magical presence she radiates that makes the crowds go crazy.
This album was recorded at the SO36 club in Berlin in March last year and, if I close my eyes when listening to it, I'm instantly transported back to that amazing night.
Together with her amazing band, she sings hits from her new album, "Oldschool" as well as some of her hits from the 70's and 80's ("Ecstasy", the timeless "99 Luftballons", "Nur Geträumt","Zaubertrick" and "Wunder Gescheh'n").
