Meshell Ndegeocello Ventriloquism

Totally appreciate what Me'Shell is trying to do here, but unfortunately, the results are positively sleepy. It works for the more romantic leaning tracks (I Wonder If I Take You Home, Sometimes It Snows In April), but for others its just makes you yearn for ENERGY! Its just....boring. Sorry, I hate to use that word, which to me is the worst thing one can say about art, but it just is.
