"The Art Of Letting Go" is basically a classic Mariah track. Gladly, this time she has returned with no featured artists, and her voice sounds really good here - although it is clearly evident that studio techniques were fully used. Anyway, it is always a pleasure hearing Carey delivering her powerful and long notes, belting her heart out.

"Letting Go" is indeed a good song, but it is not one of those that will catch you at the first listening. Probably you will have to hear it several times before creating a connection with it. And this makes us wonder if "Letting Go" was the best choice as a lead single. But it's guaranteed that the belted "dooooown" in the last chorus will give you good chills.
