Dull and non descript... Time to reform or leave it well alone!

As a long-time Journey fan (think 1977) I usually look forward to hearing what Journey puts out. But this time I just think they ran out of gas. At least half of the songs were slow, no scorching rockers, and a whole lot of filler. I can't help but wonder why Steve Perry and Journey can't reconcile. Steve was the driving force behind their meteoric climb to fame in the late 70's. After he left, Jpurney sank into the quagmire of blase.
Got to give a hard pass to adding this to my collection.
