A surprisingly good album. Upon first listen with the first 3 songs, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. The overall style has a late 80's/early 90's hard rock style (especially the vocals), but Gus' technical playing adds a certain freshness to the music that brings it into the modern era. Not sure if Joe Satriani was a direct influence for Kostas (Gus' real name) but there definitely is a resemblance. I would say, if you're a fan of 80's/90's hard rock/metal, and especially if you like technical players (Satriani, Vai, Eric Johnson, etc.) you will dig this album.
