This album has been much mocked as being GM's bomb album (in the USA), even George himself apologized for it. He shouldn't have. It doesn't deserve to be overlooked. This is one of those albums that needs to be allowed some extra time to grow on you. It took me a while. At first, I didn't like it at all, which was surprising considering that I am a big GM fan. But I kept going back to it and one day...it just clicked with me. It is one of the smoothest albums in my diverse music collection and it always makes me feel gooooooood listening to it. Today, OLDER is my favorite George Michael album.
