Fursaxa is the alias of Tara Burke, a singer and performance-artist from Philadelphia. She was first discovered by Makoto Kawabata of Acid Mothers Temple-'fame'. 'Alone' wasn't Fursaxa's first album, but her first 'proper' one following vinyl-only releases that even crackled and sounded bad before they were unwrapped. Whilst it may not appeal at first hearing, I would recommend everyone to give it a few spins. I did this with her first album, 'Mandrake', and I'm still glad I did. Once you're inside... it's the most wonderous psychedelic trip one can take, even with a cup of tea and a biscuit.
