VERY Reluctant fan of the Eels. I resisted the pull. The AWESOME cover of Fleetwood's Mac's "Oh Well" from the "The Cautionary Tales of Marl Oliver Everett" trapped my leg, & I could NOT chew it off. "Meet the Eels has a couple noteworthy tracks: "Mr. E's Beautiful Blues", "Soul Jacker Part I.", the weird cover of "Get Ur Freak On", "Saturday Morning." and "Love of the Loveless" is like SmashMouth, Black Keys, and Cake were blended in soulful rock mix. Best Loud with the subwoofer cranked.
