Did you know Delbert is - rightly or wrongly (he more or less admits to having passed on a few tips) - taught John Lennon to play harmonica. Delbert was backing Del Shannon who was opening for The Beatles (are you old enough to remember "Hey Baby"? during one of their tours, and that's where they met.
