Taking a music appreciation class in 1974, we discovered that Janis sings two notes at once. She is the only artist recorded that we know of to accomplish that feat. The song is "Ball and Chain"

This is by far one of the best albums of the late 60's. Janis Joplin was in her prime. The rendition of "Summertime" is her best ever.
