Who can do without this! The memories flood the mind as I hear this music. Not today's garbage! These guys were true artists as many as there were back then. So much kept off the air! Let me at a radio station today. The repetitive bull they play 25-35 songs on rewind! Let me at them. I can guarantee I would have us all lighting one up and throwing down a cold one with this music and that like it.
Rejoice, for we were the lucky ones. Every once in awhile we have one come along, and they throw at us some great music only to succumb(sp) to the power of the money grabbers.
So when you get a chance, and may they all come your way, one way or another, sit down with some ol' friends, break this out, be it album, cd, mp3 or what have you. Drugs need not be the lead, but a cold frosty doesn't hurt and relax, step away from it all and just chill. For another day will come.
And when we all get old, and God forbid, be rotting in some home, wherever it may be, I will be sure to be on the eviction list, for I will be torching one up and playing this music and its like as loud as can be. Should I be thrown out, f-'em. Because, it was true rock-n-roll!
