Her fifth album Hounds of Love is absolutely brilliant. I just love it. All of her albums are excellent, this one may be the best known. In the states nobody heard of this amazing woman until Hounds of Love came out in 1985. Kate however had been around since 1978 . She's not just a pioneer as far as the 1st woman to have a solo #1 hit in the UK
.. she's unlike any other and progressive isn't even the word. To say that she was before her time would be and understand entirely because with her music it says if its timeless nothing is like it nothing ever will be all in its own. Lots of people have been influenced by Kate but she seemingly came from another planet. I was a baby in 85 but now I'm discovering this brilliant woman nearly 30 years after and to me there's nothing better it's not like anything else I can't classify it as anything but all rock even then is still on its own andshe has really been a big part of my life since I've heard her because everyday I listen to her music now this and her fourth album The Dreaming I would say on my favorites but I love everything her first album the kick inside as brilliant as well.

Thank you
