Duran Duran Future Past

Being a Duran Duran right from the start I am usually over critical of any album they release. I just have to think their past album successes, Duran Duran. Rio, and Big Thing and compare the latest album with that quality.

The latest album isn't a Rio or a Big Thing but in my opinion its the best they have released for ages. The tracks are sharp, well produces, instantly likeable but there's just something missing. Do I want to listen to the album again, yes. But do I want to listen to it next year, probably not.

A great try Duran Duran but I'm still waiting for another album from you to top Rio. Good luck guys.
